These guys follow their policy down to the letter, customer service is non-existent.
We had a 9 hour delay on our flight to Barcelona from Amsterdam. We booked a car via Expedia and our reservation was dropped after 6 hours. Even though I called ahead explaining we had a horrible delay, we were forced to pay extra for a more expensive car, since our car-range was no longer available.
While we were waiting there to get things sorted, there was an older man who rented a car - but he found it was too big for his planned city trip. He had only minutes before rented his car. He asked for a smaller one, because he was afraid he would damage such a big car. He had to pay extra because they needed to alter his booking.
