Very disappointing service
Review over OscarI had a really stressful and disappointing experience with Oscar during my move. The truck started showing a battery warning after only about two hours, and then completely broke down in front of my new apartment. The lift stopped working, the engine failed, and even the steering became very heavy. Instead of finishing my move, I was left waiting for nearly five hours in the rain for a technician, only to be told the truck could not be repaired that day.
What made it even worse was the poor communication afterwards. The next day, customer service told us another truck could be picked up from a different location and even suggested a time, but when my friend went there, no booking had actually been made. He wasted his time, after already spending hours helping me the day before, and I was left dealing with even more stress and inconvenience.
What upset me most was how little responsibility Oscar took for the whole situation. Despite everything that happened, they refused compensation and simply pointed to their terms and conditions. As someone who had used Oscar before, I honestly expected much better. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their service to others, especially if you want to avoid unnecessary stress during something already as exhausting as moving.
