Ik heb een volledige, maximale verzekering met de naam "Full protection insurance" genomen bij Rental Cars voor 64,68 euro. Ik betaalde op dit via de website van "Rental Cars" en ik kreeg de mail dat ik de maximale verzekering had. Maar toen ik de auto ophaalde bij "Italy Car Rent" in Pisa zeiden ze tegen mij dat de volledige verzekering die ik betaald had bij Rental Cars niet voor hen telt. Ik moest 197,99 euro extra betalen voor de volledige verzekering. Dat is 3 keer meer dan de initiële prijs die ik reeds betaald had. Toen ik probeerde uit te leggen dat ik dit al betaald had bij Rental Cars, werd ik er arrogant op gewezen dat dit voor hen niet telt en dat ik het geld maar terug moest vragen bij RentalCars. Dit is echt ongezien, daar sta je dan met 4 kinderen en je voelt je echt bestolen. Rental Cars zou betere afspraken moeten maken met haar partners Italy Car Rent want dit is pure diefstal.

Probeer via jouw creditcard maatschappij je geld terug te krijgen. Dit lijkt op fraude en daar ben je bij je creditcard meestal voor verzekerd. Doe het wel zsm binnen 3 maanden.
Het is niet makkelijk maar mij ook gelukt. Ik kreeg teruggeboekt wat onterecht was ingehouden door rentalcars.
